Sapphire's Spritely Menu
When Restaurateur Russ Bendel took over the iconic Sapphire property initiated by Chef Azmin Ghahreman, it happened just as COVID shut us all down. The Bendel team endured, however, and they came out shining like a crown diamond.
For the record, the restaurant is now called Sapphire Cellar. Craft. Cook.
I finally got in to taste the talented Executive Chef Jared Cook’s rejuvenated menu and it was a wait worth waiting for. And I’ve got to tell you, GM Sal Hernandez always treats me and my buddies like … crown diamonds. What a class act. Russ knows how to pick ’em.
Be sure to check out the next door Sapphire Pantry goods, too. My BFF Lisa often meet for a quick cocktail there, and just pick up the to-go cocktails in small mason jars in the refrigerator section. As you can see by the last photo, it pours quite a hearty serving and makes for a great afternoon sip and catch-up.
